The AGV-System automatically accepts the paper roll at the unpacking station (company Metso Paper) where they are unwrapped and prepared for gluing.
The pick-up of the paper rolls is done automatically by the vehicles by means of a sensory device in the lift fork. The vehicles can adjust the position of the tooth to the diameter of the paper roll to avoid damage to the roll and to ensure safe transport. The vehicles are capable of transporting 1/1, 3/4, 1/2 and 1/4 paper rolls.
